These terms govern your use of the uDrive website and mobile app operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to these terms, the rental agreement, the cancellation and refund policy and the privacy policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old [CONFIRM POLICY], hold a valid driving licence for the class of vehicle you rent (held for at least 1 year [CONFIRM POLICY]) and complete our KYC process. We may refuse or cancel a booking if verification fails.
2. Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. Keep access to your phone secure; you are responsible for bookings made from your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect misuse.
3. Bookings and prices
- Prices are shown in Indian rupees. Rent is calculated from the hourly, daily, weekly and monthly tariffs for the vehicle and hub, using the cheapest combination for your rental period. Weekend surcharges, add-ons, delivery fees, coupons and GST are shown before you pay.
- A booking is confirmed only when we receive full payment. Unpaid bookings are released when the payment window ends.
- Availability is shown in real time but is not guaranteed until payment is confirmed.
4. Payments
We accept UPI. To match your payment automatically we may ask you to pay an amount that differs by a few paise from the booking total; that difference is part of the amount paid. If your payment is not matched automatically you may submit the UTR for manual verification. We never ask for your UPI PIN.
5. Security deposit
A refundable deposit is collected with each booking. Deductions for fuel, extra kilometres, late return, damage, traffic fines or other charges under the rental agreement are itemised, and the balance is refunded as set out in the refund policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website or app, attempt to access other users' data, interfere with our systems, scrape the site at volume or make bookings with false information or another person's documents.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the website or app is limited to the amount you paid for the booking concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law. Liability for the vehicle during the rental is governed by the rental agreement.
8. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [CITY], Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction [CONFIRM]. Please contact our grievance officer first so we can try to resolve your concern.
